Retirement Announcement

After much reflection, I have decided to retire from active medical practice. Caring for my patients over the past 45 years has been a privilege and a deeply rewarding journey, and I am truly grateful for the trust and relationships we have shared.

I will continue seeing patients through January 30, 2026. Medical records will be available through February for you or your new physician; a nominal fee will apply.

I have been in practice since 1980 as a Surgeon, a Family Practice and an Emergency Room Physician. I have taught, I have retired.

I have missed my patients and my community and realized that I needed to go back to my passion.

A little about Harbor Nurse Practitioner!

Gallo’s primary practice perspective is that of Lifestyle Medicine (LM). Lifestyle medicine is a medical specialty that uses therapeutic lifestyle interventions as a primary modality to prevent and treat chronic conditions. LM applies evidence-based, whole-person, prescriptive lifestyle change to treat and, when used intensively, often reverse such conditions. Gallo’s favorite work includes helping folks prevent illness, reverse chronic illness and, when possible, getting off medications.

Gallo is a graduate from Grand Valley High School in Orwell. She completed her undergraduate at University of Cincinnati, her master’s and doctorate at University of San Francisco.

Monday – Friday 1pm – 5pm (evenings and weekends possible)
